Magento's default layered navigation only create menu items for product categories but, an eCommerce website may need many article/cms pages.

Magento do have CMS page management feature by default but you can't add cms page in default navigation menu.
Most of the time developers hard-code cms page links in theme files or in xml layout files or put html codes in static block. but thus are not manageable.
By using this extension multiple menu can be created like menu for sidebar, footer etc.
menu item can be assign to show a CMS page/Product Category/External Link and added the feature to upload icon image for each menu items
and menu item order can be manage by entering position value.
I will be adding new feature in it regularly as this module is time saver for developer !
